A Tale of Four Cities : Colloque international Charles Dickens

Château d'Hardelot, samedi 4 et dimanche 5 février 2012

A quelques jours de l'anniversaire de naissance de Charles Dickens (né le 7 février 1812), un colloque international réunissant universitaires et spécialistes est organisé entre France et Grande-Bretagne, dans quatre villes qui ont marqué l'écrivain : Paris, Londres, Rochester et Condette.

Après Paris, le colloque s'arrête donc au Château d'Hardelot ce samedi 4 et dimanche 5 février avant de partir pour Rochester et Londres. Mardi 7 février, jour de l'anniversaire de Dickens, une cérémonie de commémoration sera célébrée à l'abbaye de Westmister où le plus grand écrivain de l'ère victorienne repose dans le coin des poètes.

Colloque international organisé en partenariat avec les universités de Londres, Sorbonne-Paris, Lille, Madrid, Leicester, Kent et Canterbury dans le cadre des célébrations Dickens 2012.
